Ogre bull cousins Ike, Kriz, and hen Ezra are close enough they could share half a brain. Raised in an affluent clan in the Range, they suffer scrutiny for their famed ancestry. When Ike brings home a human guest from university for the summer, seems the entire Valley goes a little bat cave bonkers when the young man shows too much interest in Ezra. Meanwhile the software company Ike and Kriz started as wee teens is fellin’ acres of trees—ogres hold a sacred love of nature—to expand their business. Lives are imperiled and cultural norms are threatened.
